You will join 200 colleagues in Arla Procurement spread across many countries among others, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, UK, Poland, Dubai and Hong Kong. On behalf of our global organization, we manage procurement activities of an annual spend of ~3.5 billion EUR. You will work out of Aarhus and report to Head of Specialized Ingredients, Lasse Nordmark.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

We are looking for a category manager maternity cover for the Specialized Ingredients team, where you will be a part of the global procurement team, and have dedicated category management of direct materials into Arla production sites.
In the Specialized Ingredients team, you will join a team with 5 colleagues but you also work close together with the rest of the Ingredients team, which consists of +13 colleagues where 7 of them are located in Aarhus.

We expect you to successfully navigate the complexity of the category as you:

• Define, develop and drive sourcing practices as well tools and processes to facilitate sourcing decisions within your categories
• Manage negotiations and projects, involving and efficiently coordinating between stakeholders and suppliers
• Build strong relationships with innovation colleagues, ensuring efficiency, resilience and contingency plans for continuous business operations are in place
• Negotiate contracts and lead contract ratification activities, in collaboration with legal stakeholders, to ensure our supplier partners meet agreed standards, time frames and prices
