Salary: Up to £35,000 depending on experience
Location: New Mills (GL12 8JR)
Hybrid working: 3 days onsite, 2 days from home (4.5 day working week, half day Fridays)

As part of the Group Manufacturing Services Division (GMSD), Procurement Compliance is an integral part of our “Responsible Renishaw” policies and objectives aimed at ensuring that when we trade with third parties, we do so in a manner that is responsible, sustainable, and compliant with all global regulations.
With growing compliance requirements across a broad range of topics, we have a new opportunity to join the Procurement Compliance team to assist with the collection and analysis of supplier data, assessment of risk and the implementation of applicable mitigation activities and strategies.
This is a great opportunity for a driven and enthusiastic individual with an interest in procurement and compliance to excel in a newly created role.
About the role
- Support the Procurement Compliance Manager and the Procurement team to meet the requirements of due diligence across a range of compliance and sustainability related topics
- Collate and analyse supplier data from multiple internal and external sources
- Present data and findings to senior stakeholders across the Renishaw group
- Conduct supplier classification and evidence reviews to map risk related to different compliance requirements
- Escalate risk mitigation procedures in non-standard scenarios
- Support the development of data collection methodology to drive continuous improvement in data quality and confidence
About you
- Proven analytical skills, with a working knowledge of Excel power queries
- Able to communicate effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholder at varying levels of an organisation
- An interest in commerce, compliance and sustainability with a willingness to grow knowledge to meaningfully critique both existing and proposed data management methodologies
- Able to think pragmatically to balance the broad business needs and challenges with the requirements of this role
- Previous experience in using the ERP system Syteline would be advantageous but is not essential as full training would be provided
Person specification
As a Procurement Compliance Officer at Renishaw, you’ll enjoy extracting, interpreting and presenting data in various formats. You’ll be well organised and possess project planning/ management skills, having the ability to prioritise varying levels of workload independently. You’ll be likely to need to learn to use new software platforms, so a willingness and aptitude for learning is highly desired. You might be interested in learning about compliance topics and procurement activities or have a procurement background with previous experience in the supply chain process, who is looking to develop professionally in a regulatory and compliance environment.
