Description:

The Procurement Coordinator will provide essential commercial and administrative support to a dynamic and busy procurement team. This role involves managing a procurement programme and acting as a crucial liaison between the procurement and finance departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaison with suppliers on short term availability, shipment arrivals and shipping documents
  • Daily liaison with sales team and QA team on customers’ requirements in terms of volume, quality and varieties
  • Preparation of supplier’s programmes and monitoring actual deliveries vs programmes
  • Monitoring quality reports on arrivals and preparation of supplier claims
  • Monitoring Profit and Loss of Procurement accounts
  • Internal communication with colleagues in sales, sales administration and technical departments
  • Be the link between Procurement and Finance Department. Dealing with invoice queries and payments to growers
  • Supporting the Procurement Manager on day-to-day duties looking after a berry programme with a view to take over and lead the business for that berry.
