Description:
The Procurement Coordinator will provide essential commercial and administrative support to a dynamic and busy procurement team. This role involves managing a procurement programme and acting as a crucial liaison between the procurement and finance departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
Responsibilities:
- Liaison with suppliers on short term availability, shipment arrivals and shipping documents
- Daily liaison with sales team and QA team on customers’ requirements in terms of volume, quality and varieties
- Preparation of supplier’s programmes and monitoring actual deliveries vs programmes
- Monitoring quality reports on arrivals and preparation of supplier claims
- Monitoring Profit and Loss of Procurement accounts
- Internal communication with colleagues in sales, sales administration and technical departments
- Be the link between Procurement and Finance Department. Dealing with invoice queries and payments to growers
- Supporting the Procurement Manager on day-to-day duties looking after a berry programme with a view to take over and lead the business for that berry.
