Procurement Coordinator
Sourcing and Procurement

As a procurement coordinator you will strategically source and select goods and services while effectively managing relationships with our suppliers. You will execute and support the Goods Not for Resale purchasing functions while ensuring that all orders are filled within the required deadlines.
We practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions at our head office, in beautiful Vancouver, BC, for strategic, collaborative and social purposes.

What you’ll do:

  • Work with the appropriate team to ensure timely and accurate investigation and processing of GNFR invoices
  • Monitor and maintain an Outlook inbox for all emails and actioning accordingly or forwarding to the appropriate team member
  • Give amazing customer service – you will act as a liaison between customers – internal or external
  • Resolve all deficiencies generated on a given order in an expeditious manner with our Suppliers
  • Maintain internal and external customer relationships, and ensure that all orders are filled within the required deadlines
  • Coordinate all systems (Oracle Purchasing, myStore, Supplier Portals) in which items are to be ordered and delivered to the appropriate locations
  • Responsible for the delivery of all products ordered. This includes formulating alternate plans when stakeholders, suppliers and logistics companies make errors
  • Following up with suppliers in a timely manner to ensure that ETAs are met and escalate as required

  • Ability to work under pressure and have good attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel experience
  • Strong analytical, organizational skills as well as strong verbal and written communication
