Description:
OUR REQUIREMENTS:
- About 10 years’ experience in procurement or other supply chain functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in fields such as business, management, finance, accounting, or marketing.
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Strong team player with and open mind to drive new ideas.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent analytical abilities, and a deep understanding of market dynamics.
- Stay abreast of market trends, economic factors, and regulatory changes that may impact procurement, and lead the procurement team to achieve departmental goals.
- Excellent command of English.

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Procurement Director, Events and Marketing, you will be responsible for managing the procurement activities across Marketing, Events, and additional categories. In this strategic role, you will oversee category management, purchasing activities, reporting and supplier negotiations. You will lead a dynamic procurement team in developing and implementing strategies that align with the organization’s goals, manage vendor relationships, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for marketing, events, and other associated categories aligning with organizational objectives.
- Manage the entire procurement process, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and purchase execution.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to ensure competitive pricing and optimal service quality.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure procurement activities meet these requirements.
- Oversee the procurement team (consisting of 5 members), providing guidance and support to ensure departmental targets and KPIs are met.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manage contracts to ensure compliance and performance standards are upheld.
- Identify and realize cost-saving and cost-reduction opportunities.
- Ensure procurement practices adhere to legal and ethical standards, and company policies.
- Implement sustainable procurement practices to bring competitive advantage to the business.
- Report on procurement activities, outcomes, and metrics to senior management, providing insights and recommendations.
