We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Procurement Engineer to join our team. This role will be pivotal in managing the procurement of materials and services for both metal works and civil works projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record in sourcing, negotiating, and managing vendors and suppliers in the construction and engineering industries.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proven experience in procurement for metal works and civil works, ideally in the construction, infrastructure, or engineering sectors.
• Strong knowledge of materials, vendors, and procurement best practices within the metal and civil works industries.
• Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively.
• Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of construction contracts, specifications, and industry regulations.

  Pay: From AED3,000.00 per mont

• Procurement Management: Oversee the procurement process for metal works (e.g., steel, structural components) and civil works materials (e.g., concrete, aggregates, heavy machinery) ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
• Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricing agreements to achieve optimal value.
• Cost Optimization: Continuously seek cost reduction opportunities without compromising on quality, safety, or project timelines.
• Vendor Evaluation: Evaluate suppliers based on reliability, quality, delivery, and pricing, and ensure compliance with specifications and contracts.
• Inventory Control: Manage the procurement inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing delays due to material shortages.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records of procurement transactions, including purchase orders, contracts, and invoices. Provide regular reports on procurement performance and project status to management.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure all procurement activities are compliant with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
