QUALIFICATION REQUIRED

• Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain with minimum 1 year of working experience
• Knowledge in Supply Chain & Logistics
• Knowledge in freight forwarding, shipping procedures, documentation and regulations and product tax code
• Knowledge of Marine Insurance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 & SAP B1
• Good command of English
• Strong communication & negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently
• Analytical & innovative
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

1 Year

• To coordinate and ensure all the import and export shipments are arranged as per the dateline request.
• To liaise and work with the forwarder/ courier service providers and monitor the incoming shipments diligently.
• To evaluate the performance to of 3PL inbound logistic service providers and communicate the discrepancies on the incoming shipment for further improvement.
• To check custom form and respond accordingly to the changes in HS Code, SST, import duty and export duty (if any).
• To apply for relevant import or export permit to facilitate smooth and efficient import or export shipment.
• To ensure all shipments are covered with marine insurance in adherence to company policy and proceed with the claim for all necessary.
• To negotiate the rate of charges with the freight forwarder or transporter to optimize the costs.
• To liaise with the Government Agencies; Malaysia Royal Customs, MIDA, and SIRIM body on exempted import duty, sales and others SST matters.
• To manage product master data project
• To ensure continual compliance to ISO & GDMPMD requirement.
