Right from the start you’ll contribute to meaningful projects in the department and will be exposed to a variety of work assignments from different practice areas. Additionally, you will be able to participate in many different kinds of learning experiences. What you learn during this internship will help you grow professionally and personally.

• Support customer order fulfilment at various stages, processing and managing purchase orders.
• Assists with vendor relationships while maintaining and developing the internal relationship with all stakeholders.
• Support order creation, processing, fulfilment, ongoing follow-up, goods receipt and invoice validation of purchase requisitions.
• Execute and manage various reports through SAP and Supply Chain Transformation system for analysing high-demand items to ensure materials are available when needed.
• Execute and manage various reports through the ERP system to analyse buyer performance, supplier activity, and billing requests to support customers.
• Interface with key internal stakeholders on logistics and Import/Export.
• Manage processes and systems issues as well as data integrity in order to process requisitions allowing for successful processing of purchase orders.
• Perform root cause analysis on recurring problems to provide recommendations to improve Procure-to-Pay Processes

As an Intern with Verizon Services Ireland’s Centre of Excellence for Global Sustainability & Supply Chain, you’ll be working with some of the best professionals in the supply chain field. This program introduces interns to the complex nature of the global supply chain at Verizon.
