EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be a self-starter with strong accountability & responsibility leadership standards
• Must be able to present key findings in a crisp way – strong knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint.
• Fluent in English – spoken & written – strong communication skills
• Outstanding in idea generation, ideas that are forward thinking, and that contribute to creating sustained competitive advantage.
• Strong at selling ideas to his/her business partners, internally and externally, translating these into effective proposals conveying value and communicating it accordingly.
• Act as an entrepreneur, treats business as his/her own, sets trends and is willing to lead, follow or get out of the way.
• Must have strong influencing skills to manage the internal and external stakeholders
• Talent mastery, which includes: spotting, fostering, encouraging and retaining talent is a non-negotiable
• Master or Bachelor degree in Business administration and/or supply chain management
• Experience in Procurement, Supply Chain or Finance is welcomed.
• Supplier management experience will be the added value.

JOB PURPOSE

To Lead management of contract manufacturing for personal care and beauty and wellbeing business unit in Europe.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

• To negotiate Contract Manufacturing procurement contracts and manage the relationship with these strategic suppliers
• To implement and to develop Unilever procurement strategies/policies for transformation projects connecting with the wider Supply Chain team
• To business partner for the wider Unilever business on Contract Manufacturing Personal Care and Beauty&Wellbeing related topics and be part of the leadership teams
• To work as a real entrepreneur improving the Gross Margin of the respective products and drive volume growth
• To drive and lead the implementation of Net Productivity savings based on sourcing strategies, negotiations and supplier compliance, and manage approval flow of savings projects
• Work with Collaborative Manufacturing Operations team and support and lead improvement projects
• To be part of the cross functional team for selected Collaborative Manufacturing suppliers
• Implementation of innovation projects in cross functional teams with Marketing, R&D and Supply Chain
• To handle diverse customer, supplier or operational issues as they arise.
• Collect, monitor and manage market information, provide analysis and price forecasts
• To manage a team of assistant procurement managers
