The Procurement Manager flexible materials is responsible for developing the sourcing strategy for Oral Care, Personal Care and/or Home Care flexible materials in the Europe.
Reports to: Sr Manager Procurement Flexible Materials EU & AEA

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Global Technology, Finance, Marketing, Packaging and Supply Chain Teams to effectively implement Product Innovation grid while meeting all Quality and Customer Service
  • Develops documented understanding of market structure and drivers for his/her materials, with risk management overview, and identifies opportunities and threats for the future
  • Manages relationship with Strategic Suppliers
  • Prepares Financial reports to track and anticipate the material process evolution
  • Leads “Top to Top” meetings with suppliers
  • Engage with Global and Division stakeholders to align on business requirements, action plans and strategies
  • Secure necessary support and resources driving effective execution
  • Works with CP attorneys and with suppliers on signing of contracts, ensures that all major materials are covered with a legal contract
  • Makes sure Segmentation Analysis and strategies in place and aligned for all materials
  • Leverage the use of"e-tools” (auctions, e-rfps, etc.) to help drive savings, simplification and standardization programs
  • Continues to improve oneself by mastering digital and analytical tools. He/She provides coaching and feedback, appraisals and implements best practices
  • Leads the Enhanced Supplier Management program for the division, liaise with the Global stakeholders to ensure timely progress of the program and best practices sharing.
  • Represents the company in external industry forums & fairs and internal Purchasing Council meetings
  • Leads the discussions between Direct Procurement, Regulatory and Packaging., Anticipates and mitigates risks on flexible materials portfolio related to new regulations.
  • Has a deep understanding of the European Green Deal regulations implications and leads the action plans to ensure the suppliers /Colgate sourcing policies are in compliance
