Mission of the Role: Support to the Procurement Partner to contract goods/services in Italy, it is carried out according to the strategy of the Procurement Department, based on the Standards, Policy, Processes and associated global Procedures, to maximize its economic, quality and sustainability optimization, guaranteeing the control in its execution which will be carried out by the hotels through the company’s purchasing tool.
Job Summary: To manage properly all the activities related to Procurement Manager position for the Italian country.

Responsibilities:

  • To Manage the bidding, negotiation and contracting of the Company’s Assets through a mixed structure that combines a Global definition of categories with a Country Structure, ensuring proximity to the business while maintaining control and alignment with the Company’s Global Strategy.
  • Supports in the identification of needs, opportunities and Best Practices in the Operations Centers and hotels in its geographical area.
  • To Collaborate with the Procurement Partner in achieving savings, quality and service targets for the Operations Centers and hotels.
  • To ensure compliance with budgets and savings targets, helping to detect the causes of any deviations that may occur and taking corrective measures.
  • To collaborate with the correct application of the Purchasing Policy that allows to generate income through the grouping of Suppliers and Volumes and consequently their corresponding contributions according to contract.
  • Participates in the agreements that allow the management of the necessary budgets for the investment requests of the Operations Centers and hotels under its geographical area of responsibility and liaises with the corporate Procurement teams to unify suppliers and volumes wherever possible.
  • Manages the request and comparison of quotations.
  • Load into the system all the necessary information to enable purchases from hotels in your geographical area
  • Collects the documentation from the suppliers managed to upload it in the system, providing maximum transparency in the event of any audit of your management area.
  • Helps to resolve incidents reported by the hotels regarding the quality or service of the suppliers contracted by your area.
  • Supports the hotels (Economatos, Administration or any other department) so that they can formalise orders, payments or reception of products. As well as in any incident they may have.
  • Reports and provides feedback to Hotel Services on the needs/opportunities of hotels in your area.
