Description:

We are seeking a Procurement Manager to join our team and manage our relationships with key vendors. This role will be pivotal in ensuring that all vendor partnerships align with our financial services company’s objectives, particularly focusing on compliance, risk management, and cost optimization. If you are experienced in managing vendors within a regulated environment and have a keen eye for detail, we’d love to hear from you!

ABOUT US:

This is what the employees say about LYNX and it is exactly what we want to offer: a work environment where you can get the best out of yourself. At our office in the heart of Amsterdam, Ghent, Berlin and Prague, we work every day to offer both private and professional clients the best trading opportunities, with a fast, user-friendly and reliable trading platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Foster trust, open communication, and collaboration with vendors to ensure strong partnerships that align with company objectives, such as data security, compliance, and excellent customer service.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify vendors that meet financial regulatory requirements, cybersecurity standards, and offer competitive pricing.
  • Track and assess vendor performance against agreed deliverables and KPIs, ensuring compliance with regulations and addressing issues promptly to maintain service quality.
  • Identify and mitigate risks in vendor relationships by implementing risk management strategies, especially around regulatory compliance and data security.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Compliance, IT Security, Finance) to establish clear, measurable performance metrics focused on compliance, data integrity, and service efficiency.
  • Ensure all vendor agreements comply with financial regulations (DORA, MiFID II, GDPR, etc.), protecting the company from legal and financial risks.
  • Lead initiatives to improve vendor management processes, including the use of new technologies or methodologies to enhance performance and reduce costs.
  • Oversee the full vendor lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring alignment with company objectives and compliance requirements.
  • Manage budgeting and financial planning related to vendor services, ensuring cost-effective contracts while meeting operational goals.
  • Ensure timely reporting of vendor-related activities to regulatory bodies, maintaining transparency and compliance with relevant regulations.
