WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

To be considered for this role you’ll have proven experience within a procurement environment as a buyer, category manager or similar, successfully planning and executing tender frameworks. You’ll be comfortable negotiating, writing and managing supplier contracts and have knowledge of legislative requirements and statutory obligations. This position has one direct report so experience of people management is a requirement of the role.

Also, we’re looking for the following:

  • The ability to manage stakeholders across a variety of levels, both internally and externally
  • Continuous professional development evidenced by CIPS qualifications or similar
  • Automotive industry experience is highly desirable

Responsibilities:

WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?

Reporting into our Senior Procurement Manager you’ll work as part of a professional procurement function to ensure that services purchased by Novuna Vehicle Solutions are managed throughout the procurement lifecycle, planning and executing tender frameworks, ensuring that we mitigate risk, provide cost efficiency, explore innovative solutions and work with suppliers that deliver excellent outcomes for our customers.

SOME OF YOUR KEY DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Conducting market research to identify marketing leading propositions and cost efficient solutions
  • Supporting the evaluation of tender submissions, providing detailed business case outcomes with adherence to corporate governance
  • Conduct commercial supplier negotiations for new and existing contracts
  • Ensuring our processes and procedures, documentation, controls and BCP’s meet corporate governance requirements
    We adopt a hybrid approach to our ways of working which for this role will see you based from our modern office in Trowbridge (Wiltshire) a minimum of 2 days per week.
