Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Responsible for achieving the Provision Profit Center’s EBIT target, sales margin target, and sales target for the Singapore office.
  • Responsible for the setup of the procurement strategy for Provision for Singapore and international.
  • Responsible for managing provision international data to ensure data consistency.
  • Review global market provision rates and estimate different local prices for different key products
  • Ensure that adequate supplier due diligence is performed at inception and across time.
  • Responsible to align dept resources and ability to achieve the optimal performance and sales output in Singapore office.
  • Responsible for supplier management, ensuring effective management of suppliers and promoting the best interests of the company.
  • Collaborate with different internal stakeholders to identify gaps and improve on operational processes.
  • Responsible for all price list and default supplier’s set up in ERP system and supplier’s selection and register in ERP system. Streamline local supplier and size up supplier’s volume, discuss contract price and more discount.
  • Motivate and influence whole team to enhance a strong teamwork with own dept and other depts, keep up positive and passion attitude atmosphere, recognize and evaluate each member’s contribution and performance through weekly, monthly and quarterly meeting and appraisal.
  • Fully execute the policy given by company and keep fully execution, take part in all trainings organized by company to improve management ability

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 3 years prior experience working in the purchasing/procurement/product category department in a similar capacity
  • Degree in Supply Chain, Business Admin or Finance, or equivalent
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with the belief of leading by example
  • Good communication skills and team-work awareness, strong sense of responsibility
  • Systematic and process driven, with strong number senses
  • Having a proactive and data driven approach to decision making.
  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints
  • Good in English speaking, listening, writing and reading
  • Working knowledge and experience with MS Office
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and perform effectively in a fast-paced matrixed environment
  • Capable of handling multiples projects / initiatives simultaneously and executing to completion. Attention to detail, multi-tasking and strong follow through required
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and balance workload to meet deadlines
  • Experience in working effectively with all levels in a matrixed organizationAble to adapt to changing demands and conditions
