Responsibilities:

  • Proactively support Residence Managers develop category plans through dynamic analysis of cost structures, supplier research, market indicators.
  • Manage product lists and pricing within the ARM / Epicor procurement system.
  • Develop tools and methodologies to classify expenditure into categories that support the development of category plans.
  • Support the development and implementation of sourcing and procurement strategies.
  • Lead sourcing activities in relation to category and stakeholder requirements.
  • Develop contract management strategy for designated categories.
  • Assist in the development and evaluation of requests for tender and pricing, along with analysis of the responses with the support of the Head of Asset Management and Procurement.
  • Evaluate supplier performance, spend and financial status including adherence to agreed costs and rates.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis, reporting and/or data validation as requested.
  • Creation and distribution of purchasing policies and systems
  • The application of risk management principles to the procurement process
