Founded in 1933 at the request of Albert Einstein, the IRC offers lifesaving care and life-changing assistance to refugees forced to flee from war or disaster. In 2016, IRC Germany was founded and is involved in the areas of education, economic wellbeing, and safety, legal protection, and empowerment throughout Germany.
The Procurement Officer (Contracting) is a full-time position providing support for the IRC Deutschland office in Berlin, program teams in various locations across Germany and support for international programs if needed. Reports to the Procurement Manager.
The position does not have supervisory responsibility.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for monitoring contracts, preparing contracts and supplier performance to ensure that terms & conditions, standard operating procedures are adhered to
- Support with increasing Master Service Agreements for Germany
- Represent SC in the bid committee meetings, prepare and evaluation of bids
- Maintain supplier performance score cards
- Responsible for managing supplier relationships and performance
- Ensure donor and IRC compliance for all procurements
- Implement internal and external audit corrective action plans (CAPs)
- Gather data for monthly and quarterly procurement reports
