We are seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join our team . The successful candidate will manage the procurement process for various materials, goods, and services, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and cost efficiency. This role will involve working closely with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure the project meets its requirements while adhering to company policies and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to support the needs of real estate development projects.
  • Prepare procurement schedules and ensure that materials, equipment, and services are delivered on time, in the correct quantities, and at the best possible prices.
  • Identify and engage with qualified suppliers and contractors to obtain competitive bids for required goods and services.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable delivery and resolve any potential issues.
  • Conduct vendor performance evaluations to ensure compliance with contract terms, quality standards, and timelines.
  • Prepare, issue, and evaluate tenders and requests for proposals (RFPs) from suppliers and contractors for goods and services.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors, ensuring they align with project budget and specifications.
  • Work closely with the project and finance teams to monitor procurement budgets and ensure cost control.
  • Track and report procurement spending and suggest cost-effective alternatives or opportunities for savings where applicable.
  • Ensure that all procured goods, services, and contracts meet the project’s quality standards and comply with applicable regulations and specifications.
  • Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure products and materials are in compliance with safety standards and specifications.
  • Monitor and manage the inventory of procured goods and materials to ensure that all supplies are available when needed on site.
  • Coordinate logistics and delivery schedules to ensure timely arrival and proper handling of materials and equipment.
  • Identify potential risks related to procurement activities, such as supply chain disruptions, cost increases, or delays.
  • Work proactively to resolve any procurement-related issues, including supplier delays, quality concerns, or contractual disputes.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and correspondence.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders on procurement status, challenges, and cost performance.
