Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
We have a fantastic opportunity for the right person to advance their career in our growing Procurement and Logitics team. A permanent full time position in our Hamilton office, working Monday to Friday, you will have the opportunity to make your mark in the business.
Reporting to the Procurement & Logistics Manager, the primary purpose of this role is to provide efficient and cost-effective purchasing, stock delivery and materials management across the business to enable smooth operations.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Buy and source products and services as required by the business, monitoring continuity of supply and ensuring optimal value and quality.
- Review and analyse end-user and supplier behaviour. Promote and advise on improvements to optimise the supply chain
- Manage order consolidation and invoice approval processes.
- Stock management, including cycle counts, replenishment and stock takes. Work with internal stakeholders to improve inventory control processes and systems.
- Support the standardisation of product and vendor reduction programmes, and other projects aligned with department strategy.
