JOB SUMMARY

Our client is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join their team at the manufacturing facility in Lekki. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of import/export processes and local market availability, ensuring that the company procure high-quality materials at competitive prices.

• Experience Length : 3 years

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of procurement experience, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
• Strong knowledge of import/export processes and local market dynamics.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize purchasing processes.
• Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain supplier relationships.
• Monitor market trends and assess local and international supply availability.
• Manage the procurement of raw materials and supplies necessary for production.
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to forecast material requirements and plan purchases.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare reports for management.
• Conduct regular assessments of supplier performance and quality control.
