We are looking for a/an Procurement Officer to join our CT_MTCS (Mass Transfer Components & Services) team in Saudi Arabia .

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Procurement of all required materials and services for SULZER projects and sites balancing best price, quality, and delivery times.

YOUR MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive and analyze purchase requests (PR) from user departments.
• Prepare a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and send it to suppliers, detailing technical specifications and tentative delivery dates.
• Follow up with suppliers and service providers, receive quotations, and clarify unclear or incomplete quotations for comparison analysis.
• Prepare comparisons to select materials based on quality and price.
• Prepare and send Purchase Orders, including material delivery schedules and payment methods.
• Follow up on all payments and Letters of Credit with Finance and suppliers/service providers.
• Address rejected, defective, and/or incomplete materials.
• Liaise closely with the warehouse regarding inventory management and material inspection.
• Maintain a supplier database and monitor supplier performance for necessary improvements.
• Prepare letters of intent when applicable.
• Generate periodic procurement reports for the PMO Manager.
• Provide support to other SULZER functions beyond core responsibilities to achieve common organizational goals.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

• Bachelor’s degree is a must.
• 5 years of procurement experience in industrial manufacturing international companies.
• English with knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
• Soft skills: Communication and Negotiation skills.
  This position is open in Saudi Arabia Al-Jubail at Tower Field Services (TFS) Chemtech.
