The successful candidate will be required to fulfil the job as summarised below, but not limited to:

• Compile and issue RFQ documents.
• Commercially analyse, evaluate, negotiate and award commercially sound Purchase Orders.
• Commercially administer the Purchase Orders during the cycle of the Purchase Order.
• Verification and authorisation for payment of Vendor invoices on a monthly basis.
• Meet critical and stringent project schedule and budgetary requirements.
• Effective close outs of Purchase Orders at completion of the works.
• Ensure that all documentation is at the correct revision.
• Ensure that all equipment ordered is within budget.
• Ensure that the quality procedure is adhered to.
• Timeous distribution of information and documentation to all parties.
