Description:
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE/KĀ PŪKEKA ME KĀ WHEAKO
You will have relevant experience of public sector procurement, including tender process probity, and managing supplier agreements and performance, contributing to the goal of realising savings. You are an excellent communicator, across all mediums, with outstanding relationship building skills which will be useful when partnering with stakeholders, both internal and external. A master at time management, you organise your day with ease, balancing competing demands.
Additional skills you will have:
- 3+ years’ of relevant procurement or purchasing experience.
- Strong understanding of sourcing and procurement techniques.
- Innovative, you think outside the square with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Analytical, able to collect and interpret data, identify problems, and find solutions.
- Forward thinking - able to plan and think long term.
Your ability to establish strong relationships with University stakeholders and the broader financial services team is essential in contributing to the successful achievement of the University’s Vision and Mission
Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, this role supports the delivery of university-wide procurement activity and assists stakeholders to plan, develop, source, analyse and manage procurement arrangements enabling the University to attain the best value in goods and services.
