The Procurement Operations Manager will lead and oversee procurement activities across multiple regions, ensuring the alignment of purchasing strategies with organizational goals. This role is critical in optimizing supply chain efficiency, driving cost reductions, and ensuring seamless collaboration with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams worldwide. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing global procurement processes, implementing best practices, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies.

COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in a global or regional procurement role.
  • Strong knowledge of global procurement practices, international trade regulations, and sourcing strategies.
  • 3+ years of experience in in Source-to-Pay Platforms (e.g., Coupa, Jaeggar, Ariba, GEP) and advanced Excel skills.
  • English knowledge is a must, Hungarian is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to drive process improvements and manage complex projects.
  • Ability to operate effectively in different cultural contexts and across international markets.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Align procurement processes (Source-to-Pay, Supplier Management, Contract Management in collaboration with cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, IT) to ensure alignment and consistency of procurement activities with broader business goals.
  • Lead or participate in the roll-out of a Source-to-Pay platform across different regions, ensuring consistency and standardization (e.g. for Master Data Management, Supplier Enablement, Training, Workflows)
  • Oversee day-to-day procurement operations on a global scale and act as the central point of contact for Business user queries and escalations.
  • Work closely with Finance to ensure timely payments and reconciliation of procurement transactions.
  • Identify, design, and implement Procurement process and system improvements to enhance supplier and user adoption, automation, and scalability
  • Align with Global Category Leads, IT Product Owner and Customer Success Manager to continuously improve value received from investments
  • Maintain and improve content available for Business Users on the Source-to-Pay Platform and foster best practice exchangesEnsure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and applicable local, national, and international regulations.
  • Implement robust governance processes to ensure ethical procurement practices and mitigate supplier risks globally.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for procurement activities globally, including cost savings, supplier performance, and delivery accuracy.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on procurement performance to senior management, identifying opportunities for further optimization.
