The Procurement Operations Specialist will work on both strategic and operational aspects of the Anaplan procurement program. This includes working with our internal customers and external partners to ensure operational excellence and employee experience in supporting and driving initiatives to lead the procure-to-pay process. The analyst works with our suppliers across multiple categories and works closely throughout the agreement lifecycle to ensure the highest level of services are being delivered. The procurement and contract management team falls within our finance center of excellence organization, and along with having extensive P2P industry knowledge, the analyst is expected to follow high procurement standards in working with suppliers.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience related to procurement, accounting, or international operations
- Experience in Procure to Pay process with a strong knowledge of procurement practices and techniques
- Willingness to work flexible hours that accommodate international employees as needed
- Strong analytical skills and aptitude for details
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and procurement tools
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Proven experience in global procurement management with roles including strategic sourcing and procurement
- Familiarity with American Express policies and procedures is a plus
- Program/project management experience and/or certification preferred
