Description:
THE POSITION
The Program Manager will manage Procurement activities as part of strategic corporate projects in different areas involving MSC Supply Base, contributing at the same time to identify, evaluate, prioritize, and promote potential new initiatives within the Procurement roadmap
In particular, the Program Manager will:
- Play an active role in the Procurement Supply Base Sustainability programs: He/She will be responsible for the Ecovadis ESG platform and will manage all related activities, working in close contact with internal key stakeholders (Sustainability, Risk, Compliance, Legal, HR). The Program Manager will act as a focal point of contact for the Suppliers assessment, evaluation and for the prioritization of actions. He/She will coordinate remote teams (in SSC / Agencies) involved in the Supply Base Sustainability programs, ensuring global alignment, timely follow up of actions agreed and acting as first escalation point. The Program Manager will be responsible for the Platform configuration, upgrades and maintenance with the Provider.
- Contribute to and support all the digital initiatives across the organization (Vendor Portal, Contract Lifecyle Management platform…) becoming a subject matter expert and point of contact and contributing actively to their adoption and development across the wider organization in tight collaboration with internal functions and business stakeholders (Key Metrics and Reports, ad hoc customization, features development..)
- Establish and maintain good communications with stakeholders on projects issues and concerns, continuously looking for improvements, anticipating and resolving any problems and putting in place mitigation plans.
- Manage relationship with Service providers directly involved in projects initiatives.
