PROCUREMENT REPRESENTATIVE

Ecolab, the world leader in resin-based separation, purification and extraction technology, is seeking a Procurement Representative at our manufacturing site in Victoria, Brasov!
The Procurement Representative will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient shipment of chemical products to our customers. This position requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of shipping regulations, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
At Ecolab, we manufacture products which help our customers around the globe, mainly in pharmaceutical and life science sectors, with technology which are critical to safe manufacture of their products. It’s an exciting business which helps make the world cleaner, safer and healthier.

• Places purchase orders, selects, and negotiates with approved vendors and evaluates vendors reliability.
• Obtains materials from suppliers at lowest cost consistent with consideration of quality, reliability of source and urgency of need.
• Follows up on orders to expedite delivery and shipment.
• Schedules deliveries and obtains certifications of delivery.
• Checks and approve payment invoices for orders placed.
• Sources vendors, negotiates competitive pricing, takes advantage of special purchases and/or combines orders to obtain the most favourable pricing.
• Normally reports to Procurement Manager.
