ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION

The Supply Chain team is growing and we need new competent employees. With us, you will work with dedicated colleagues in multidisciplinary teams. You must be able to balance several tasks at det same time and thrive in a hectic work environment.

  • Create procurement strategies
  • Issue inquiry documents for larger equipment and services in close cooperation with engineering
  • Commercial evaluation of quotations
  • Issue orders and contracts of complex procurement packages
  • Follow-up suppliers to secure delivery within the right timeframe, cost, and quality
  • Professional variation handling
  • Handling of risks, deviations and invoices
  • Secure that all work is executed in accordance with clients guidelines, work instructions and Procedures
  • Be the single point of contact for commercial discussions with suppliers

It is considered a natural part of the job to constantly work on improvements, to reduce internal and external risks, costs and to improve delivery quality and cooperations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree
  • Relevant subjects: Supply Chain, Logistics, Economy, Engineering and similar
  • Solid knowledge within procurement is a requirementRight attitude and high commitment may compensate for lack of formal education / relevant work experience.
  • A Commercial mindset & Contract understanding
  • Good oral and written communication skills, both in Norwegian and English.
  • Flexible and positive with good collaboration skills.
  • Structured and systematic approach
  • Microsoft Office and SAP ERP experience is a plus
