We are seeking a Procurement Sourcing Specialist with expertise in procuring corporate services categories to lead impactful sourcing initiatives. You will develop procurement strategies that support Ontario Health as a leader in transformative healthcare initiatives. You will contribute to sourcing strategies, manage contracts, and drive procurement processes that support a fast-evolving provincial healthcare environment.

Here is what you will be doing:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess procurement needs, identify opportunities, and develop innovative sourcing solutions.
  • Lead end-to-end procurement processes, including developing RFx documentation, managing procurements, and ensuring compliance with policies and standards.
  • Lead internal stakeholders through the bid evaluation process to finalize vendor selection.
  • Negotiate contract terms under legal supervision and manage contract performance for key corporate services categories, such as consulting, facilities, finance, and HR services.
  • Analyze market data to identify sourcing opportunities and enhance value delivery.
  • Build strong partnerships with stakeholders and vendors, fostering trust and collaboration.
  • Monitor contract performance, address challenges, and identify opportunities to optimize vendor relationships and value delivery.
  • Provide guidance on procurement policies and ensure adherence to internal controls.

Here is what you will need to be successful:

Education and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in sourcing and managing corporate services categories, such as consulting, facilities management, financial services, and HR.
  • At least four years of relevant experience, including two years in sourcing or contract management of corporate services categories.
  • Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Law, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • NISCL CSCL/CSCMP certification or equivalent is an asset.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Knowledge of procuring corporate service categories.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency with eSourcing platforms, ERP applications, and MS Office Suite, including Excel.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with a sharp eye for detail.
  • Ability to build credibility and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong understanding of legal contract terminology and best practices in procurement.
  • Knowledge on Public Procurement policies and procedures will be an asset.
