Procurement Specialist

In this role you will primarily be responsible for the management of procurement activities for our New Zealand Fixed High Frequency Radio Refresh program which provides key support to NZ Defense. Being our procurement specialist in this program, you will provide critical support to the Subcontracts Manager and wider procurement team, facilitating the end-to-end negotiation with existing and future suppliers, ensuring they are sticking to cost effective procedures where possible, and gaining the ability to deliver procurement plans and proactive sourcing strategies. In addition to providing the above key support to the program, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills for a career path in the future.

To be successful you will have:

• Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain Commonwealth Security Clearance
• Exposure to the defense industry in a related role
• Commercial, or Legal tertiary qualifications
