DESCRIPTION ABOUT PROJECT/DEPARTMENT
As a procurement professional in the IT PROCUREMENT Category, you will have an important role supporting the Business Line in approaching the supplier market.
IT PROCUREMENT consists of two departments, both are part of the procurement category Digital Technologies and Data (DTD): Enterprise Digital (segment within DTD) collaborates with business line Technology Digital & Innovation / Enterprise Digital, meaning all IT technology, architecture, and big consultancy houses. As Contract Lead within IT Procurement, you will be responsible for contract establishment and contract management. You will align and coordinate involvement from other relevant departments (e.g., technical, legal, SSU, stakeholders etc.) and negotiate terms with suppliers. IT is a vital and integrated part of Equinor’s business, and you will have an important and valued role as we handle important risk and influence agreements of great technical and commercial value.

Education: Relevant education in relation to the role and responsibility
- 1 prior : Bachelor and 12 years experience or Master’s degree with 8 years experience
- 2 prior : Bachelor and 8 years experience or Master’s degree with 4 years experience

Responsibilities:
DESCRIPTION ABOUT ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
A Contract Lead is responsible for Company’s procurement activities related to establish and manage agreements.
Holds the mandate to legally commit the Company to suppliers. Here you will take on strategic procurement responsibilities and challenging tasks, through: LEAD CONTRACT ESTABLISHMENT:
- Lead enquiry processes (strategy, enquiry, evaluation, negotiation)
- Implement and operationalize new agreements.
Framework agreements, project specific contracts and call offs MANAGE AGREEMENT:
- Shape the future global contract portfolio through segment strategies together with business line and suppliers
- Identify business cases and drive change in contract relationship to maximize value for company
- Ensure contract compliance, identify, and manage risk (SSU, commercial, financial, local requirements)
- Stakeholder management in relevant business line together with Company Representative (CR) and Contract Owner (CO)
- Contribute to correct and optimal use of agreements in collaboration with Company Representative, including supporting the business line
