Description:
REQ0850
Here at Forestry and Land Scotland we look after nearly a tenth of Scotland’s natural resources in the forests, woodlands and land in our care. That’s a lot of land, a lot of resource and a lot of caring. It’s an exciting time for FLS as we embark on our transformation programme.
We are looking for some very special people, talented, enthusiastic and dedicated, to join our Procurement team. We need Procurement Specialists, and in this role you will work across FLS delivering regulated tenders and supporting contract management work.
We like to think that our procurement work is unique in its content, and we also offer you great opportunities to develop your career. Our Procurement team has a great track record of professional development and advancement, and we support staff financially with their professional CIPS qualifications.
As well as the obvious awards in helping to care for Scotland’s natural resources you will also be rewarded with some of the best terms and conditions out there. Depending on your experience you will start anywhere between £42,055 and £45,291, earn 27% employer pension contributions and enjoy 25 Days annual leave rising to 30 after five years plus 11.5 days public holidays every year. We have a range of employee benefits including retail discounts, childcare vouchers and cycle to work schemes.
We have a really flexible approach to your work-life balance, and offer a range of flexible working arrangements so you can work from home with some office attendance.
We would love to hear from you if you think you have what it takes to help Scotland grow.
