Description:
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Procurement Specialist in the Manufacturing industry, located in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. The job function includes tasks such as order processing, filing, scheduling, and procurement. You’ll be part of a team working in an office environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and process incoming purchase orders meticulously
- Maintain and update customer records in the company system
- Track the status of orders and provide updates to customers
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating production based on received orders
- Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely and efficient order fulfillment
- Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain a high level of organization due to the paper-intensive nature of the role
- Utilize CRM and ERP systems for customer and order management
- Adhere to the company’s protocol for receiving purchase orders
- Cross-train in various job functions to support team members as needed
- Possess strong knowledge of semi-conductors and electric component manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in CRM and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning.
- Familiarity with budget processes and buying processes.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to manage invoices and enter purchase orders.
- Experience in corporate procurement.
- Capable of maintaining a daily schedule and managing job scheduling.
- Proven ability to handle job scheduler tasks.
- Strong understanding of purchase orders and their execution.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with various departments.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and other related software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field is preferred.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
