Description:

We are seeking a skilled Procurement professional for a 90-day temporary assignment in Fort Worth, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating and negotiating contracts, pricing, and warranty management, with analytical skills and experience in RPS. This role requires a strategic mindset and the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
Responsibilities
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers.
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable supply chains and favorable terms.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues that arise.
Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure advantageous terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
Ensure contracts are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality standards.
Work closely with the inventory team to manage stock levels, ensuring that there is neither overstock nor stockouts.
Optimize inventory turnover rates.
Ability to think ahead and plan to meet both short-term and long-term goals.
Proven track record in creating and managing contracts.
Familiarity with Request for Proposal processes.
Strong capability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Experience with Apttus and/or Corrigo is a plus, but not required.
Proficient in Excel.
Excellent Customer Service skills
Ability to manage invoices and existing contracts
Skills in drafting and negotiating contracts
Experience in Contract Negotiation
Knowledge of Apttus Software is preferred
Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, procurement, or a related field preferred
Proven experience in a similar role is advantageous
Must have knowledge of procurement regulations and procedures
Experience in analyzing and managing budgets is preferred.
