Description:
- Manage a team that sets up contracts with suppliers, considering sales and operations needs.
- Create a list of service providers for sea and land transportation in the APAC region.
- Research competitors’ suppliers and market rates, and act on findings.
- Build relationships with existing and new suppliers.
- Collaborate with various parties on rate negotiations.
- Organize and update supplier information in our system.
- Monitor and manage rate expirations.
- Lead rate negotiations with suppliers.
- Find ways to maximize supplier usage.
- Support the regional procurement team in daily tasks.
- Assist the supervisor with other procurement duties as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or related discipline.
- Atleast 5 years experience in procurement in Logistics industry.
- With container shipping experiences.
