The Procurement Value Partner leads all aspects of the acquisition activities to ensure the correct adherence to procurement strategies and policies. Owns the overall Indirect Procurement function.

• Ensures timely, effective, efficient and compliant procurement operations, to high standards and within budget. Aims at bringing value along the dimensions of cost, quality, compliance, price and service as a result of the development and execution of the procurement plan.
• Searches and selects suppliers that can best meet Roche’s demands in terms of cost, quality and service according to the business requirements.
• Ensures the conclusion of contracts / agreements according to internal policies.
• Runs the Procure to Pay business process.
• Responsible for the Supplier relationship management process of selecting and evaluating suppliers to mutually improve business results.
• Performs negotiation with suppliers for required products.
• Advises internal team members on potential risks and opportunities by providing support and ensuring clear and effective communication in all procurement related matters.
