JOB SUMMARY:

The Produce Department Associate is responsible for ensuring the produce department is well-stocked, clean, and visually appealing. This role involves handling fresh fruits and vegetables, providing excellent customer service, maintaining proper inventory levels, and ensuring that all produce meets the store’s quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a produce department or similar retail environment is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic math skills for handling inventory counts and pricing.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of produce varieties, handling, and storage requirements.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
