Description:
We are on a lookout for a Produce Manager!!
New World Kawerau, we’re dedicated to providing our customers with the Best and highest quality produce and a best shopping experience possible.
As our Produce Manager, you’ll play a key role in bringing this vision to life.
This is a fulltime role with up to 45 hours.
Key responsibilities are:
- Source and procure the best quality fruits, vegetables, and other produce items from our Distribution Centre, local growers and suppliers.
- Ensure operational delivery standards are met or exceeded through sufficient stock level and department merchandising.
- Ensure sales, growth and profit targets for the department are met or exceeded.
- Lead the planning, organization, and operation of the produce department, ensuring an abundant and visually appealing selection of best and fresh produce for our customers.
- Ensure department range matches format and customer service requirements.
- Train, mentor, and motivate a team of produce associates to deliver exceptional customer service and uphold our standards of quality and cleanliness.
- Collaborate with store management and other department heads to create a cohesive and seamless shopping experience for our customers.
