Description:

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Product Analyst, you will be responsible for executing the development and delivery of assigned software projects, understanding how requirements impact both the technical and functional nature of an application, and collaborating with engineering and internal teams to build features according to business needs. You will work with Product Development Directors to ensure the most valued functionality is prioritized.
This role requires someone who understands technology and business, exhibits a high degree of organization and attention to detail, and has the ability to professionally interact with a diverse blend of personalities to reach resolution and maintain strong relationships.
This is a hybrid role with some time each week required in our South Bend, Indiana office.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • 1-3 years of working with an Agile software team or equivalent experienceMust be self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Proficient in development of user stories, grooming product backlog, and prioritizing software product needs
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
  • Ability to show flexibility with changes in product requirements and scope
  • Ability to identify and control scope creep
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to professionally manage competing priorities of stakeholders, architects, management and other teams

Responsibilities:

  • Break down high-level requirements into user stories; eliciting additional requirements and use cases as necessary
  • Groom and prioritize the development backlog to ensure work focuses on items with the maximum value that are aligned with product strategy and planned releases
  • Shepherd work through the development and deployment pipelines
  • Reinforce product vision and direction with the Agile development team
  • Act as the primary liaison between Director of Product Development and Software Development Team
