Description:
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years London Market Insurance experience
- Business analysis experience and knowledge of business analysis methodologies
- Experience and knowledge of BPMN or similar business process modelling skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable engaging with and challenging business and external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Flexible and pragmatic
- Able to work to deadlines and meet the required delivery standards
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Experience in delivering digital insurance initiatives
- Experience in working on eTrading projects
- Underwriting and/or Broking experience or knowledge of the insurance value chain
- Insurance Operations experience gained from a multi-national specialty (Re)Insurer
- Experience working with third party suppliers
- Experience of working within an Agile environment
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Product Analyst in London to work for our client within the Insurance sector. This role is initially for 12 months.
As a Product Analyst you will be work in our client’s Digital Channels team and will be responsible for supporting their strategy and growth priorities through the delivery of digital distribution channels. The team provides the product and technology capabilities and resource required to ensure that effective digital solutions are delivered to the business. The successful candidate should be an experienced product analyst, who understands digital, to help support the delivery of several key initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supporting with business process design and implementation across carious digital initiatives in the UK and European market
- Liaise with senior members in the business as well as external customers to ensure their needs are met
- Conduct analysis work to a consistently high and contribute to projects as required to develop proposals, requirements, or other requested project documentation
- Elicit further requirements and test / challenge assumptions using a variety of methods including interviews, document analysis, workshops, and business process descriptions
- Identify the relationships, dependencies and impacts of change on multiple systems and processes
- Stakeholder management – support the Product Owner to interact with all levels of management, obtain buy in and sign off and manage delivery expectations
- Contribute to the Digital Channels Team development of standards/methodology for capturing and publishing business processes, requirements, and other documentation
- Contribute to team 30/60/90-day planning sessions and set expectations for delivery of new capabilities, features, and functionalities
