ABOUT YOU:
- Degree in a maths/science-based subject
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence others and present to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proven experience with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and other analytics tools
- Data-driven and passionate about using testing and research to justify business decisions
- Ability to work on own initiative and drive tasks forward
- Comfortable dealing with large and complex data sets
- Ability to prioritise, multi-task, and perform effectively under pressure
- Eager to learn new skills, and are constantly looking for new ways to expand professional knowledge

DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Responsibilities:
THE ROLE:
Our Business Intelligence team is growing! We’re now looking for an ambitious, and experienced Product Analyst to join our team in London or Leeds.
As a Product Analyst to play a central role in driving key decisions across every aspect of the business during a period of rapid growth. The Analyst will sit within the data team, and be responsible for providing vital analysis and insights, working with different teams to scope, build and roll-out a range of strategic initiatives.
This is a unique opportunity to be on the front-line of a highly profitable, fast growing, innovative business and help deliver on our ambitious growth plans.
We’re looking for someone data-driven and passionate about developing their skills in data handling and reporting. You should strive to get to the bottom of problems, love getting into the details, and won’t stop until you have all the answers. You are comfortable working with large and complex data sets and use them to prepare key reports and insights to influence business decisions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide a key role in QIH’s BI strategy and analytical requirements
- Implementing and managing tracking solutions using Google Tag Manager to enhance our digital analytics capabilities. You will work closely with our marketing, data, and product teams to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
- End to End Business Intelligence development
- Support the development of the Data Warehouse structure
- Oversee Front end visualisation in Tableau
- Conduct detailed investigations, identifying business requirements and pain points through a range of data gathering methods
- Conduct analysis on key areas of the business to highlight opportunities to improve profitability, including but not limited to:
- Cohort Analysis
- Demographic segmentation
- Predictive value modelling
- Spend/Cost management
- Recommendation engines (e.g. for advertising)
- Build dashboards in Tableau as per business specifications and partner with the data team to utilise the latest development in Tableau to improve data source and dashboard performance
- Build strong relationships across all of the different teams in the business, becoming a trusted source of business intelligence
- Create technical documentation for BI tools and provide technical support and training for BI reports, dashboards, and tools to end users
