This specialized role is within the Life Sciences Mass Spectrometry Business Unit and focuses on the innovative technology of mass spectrometry and its application to clinical research and toxicology. Responsibilities:
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing mass spectrometry based (LC-MS/MS) methods/workflow on small molecules for clinical research or toxicology applications.
- Designing and implementing experiments to support New Product Introduction.
- Assisting in collaborations with key opinion leaders from an application perspective and incorporating data/results from these collaborations into marketing collateral.
- Publishing technical/application notes, posters, peer-reviewed articles, and various marketing collateral in support of the Clinical Research and toxicology strategic marketing plan.
- Presenting methods/workflows and notable solutions at conferences and internal/external meetings
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Science (chemistry, biology, or a related field), with equivalent experience also considered, and an MS/Ph.D preferred.
- A minimum of 5+ years of hands-on liquid chromatography or mass spectrometry experience and expertise in small molecules method and applications development.
- Experience in sample preparation in biological matrices is preferred.
- A solid understanding of the clinical research and toxicology analytical industries.
- The ability to develop credibility and network with proven and positive professional relationships.
- The ability to work within a highly matrixed organization with cross-functional teams.
- Up to 25% domestic and international travel may be required
