About the Job

This role is based in Melbourne, however you will be required to travel in the region with sales team members or independently, as required. Key Tasks

The role is primarily focussed on product and application specialization and will be supporting Service Sales team by:

  • Preparing quotations based on customer needs and our offerings highlighting the value proposition.
  • Driving sustainability solutions with customers through equipment & process audits.
  • Identify and advise cross-selling & upselling opportunities.
  • Driving development and proper usage of sales tools and configurators.
  • Driving completeness and correctness of Installed Base data quality.
  • Validating costing and developing standardized offers based on 360 Service Portfolio.
  • Driving digital transformation in sales Lead-to-Order process.
  • Providing technical advice on products and applications related to Separation products within Alfa Laval service portfolio.
  • Providing technical advice on sales-related claims and warranty.
  • Conducting joint customer visits with sales & channels/partners.
  • Leading training & development of local sales team members.
  • Collaborating with Business Units in Central organisation on all Separation products and associated applications.
  • Stakeholder Management inter- & intra-teams locally and within Central organisation.

What you Know

  • University degree or similar in either business or sales management.
  • Preferably several years of service sales experience with Alfa Laval Separation products.
  • Experience in negotiations, and to work in cross-functional business environment.
