We are seeking a Product Content Designer to join our team of messaging platform designers, product managers, researchers, and product marketers. This role focuses on helping users connect with relevant content and experiences.
Our ideal candidate is a versatile professional capable of planning and writing content for mobile and web interfaces. You apply consistent standards and elevate the overall quality of our work. You excel at managing multiple requests, hands-on writing, and editing for innovative features. You understand design thinking and user experience, thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced organization that uses lightweight processes to achieve significant impact.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4+ years of experience working with content for web or mobile platforms.
  • Ability to quickly build working relationships with product managers and designers.
  • Creativity and innovative design thinking, with a proven track record of developing new ideas or products.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience writing consumer-facing content for iOS and Android apps.
  • Experience documenting content standards and processes. Please share your portfolio or examples of your writing.
    Please include a link to samples of your work that demonstrate experience across various content types, such as user interfaces, microcopy, user education, direct or transactional emails, style guides, or product launch content.
    Location: Remote (IL)
    Role type: Contract 3 Month Position
    Expected hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities:

  • Write, edit, test, and improve content, including user interface language, educational materials, navigational nomenclature, notifications, and other content on messaging and social media platforms.
  • Ensure consistency by learning and applying content standards, and document and update these standards.
  • Collaborate with designers, researchers, product managers, product marketers, and engineers to serve a global content audience.
  • Share your work and provide feedback to teammates.
