Responsibilities:

The ALDO Group, a worldwide leader in fashion footwear and accessories, is looking for creative talent to join its in-house product development team. Reporting to Product Development, this role will continually deliver fashion forward trends to develop our worldwide footwear collections which are reflective of the ALDO brand. The Product coordinator is an entry level role which is ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment all the while being driven by their passion for footwear fashion.

Responsibilities

  • Daily Sample Reception: unload all bins received from sample management team relating to Product Development (PD) such as fair samples and sales samples
  • Sample Maintenance: work with PD to maintain order in master collection room. Weekly cleanup of collection room.
  • Material room maintenance: Keep material bins organized, labeled and samples in place.
  • Seasonal assistance on material room set up.
  • Request and check sample maps from suppliers relating to handovers with the support of the PD team
  • Daily communication with suppliers for sample follow up and data management.
  • Product Lifecycle Management
  • Carry over of flow products and colorways
  • Support PD with product creation, linesheet update, spec uploads
  • Product-season attribute maintenance
  • Material breakdown, HTS, and custom attribute maintenance
  • Support PD with product handover
  • Manage defects/deleted articles post-handover, communicating with POM and buying teams
  • General assistance in administrative
