WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

TradeStation is seeking a Product Data Analyst to join our online brokerage product management team, Data, Insights and Governance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing robust data analysis with a focus on Product Learning Management. This position will require strong data skills, including proficiency in data visualization, data querying, and data visualization tools, alongside an interest in evaluating success of educational materials and events. The Product Data Analyst will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Learning Management, and Product Management to provide insights and support to drive product innovation and growth.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Manage and post education related events, materials, data, and other resources
  • Assist in project planning activities for Product Learning Management team
  • Monitor and track education performance metrics to measure the success of new and existing educational events and tools
  • Collect, and analyze data from multiple sources, including internal data sets and external data sources, to generate insights
  • Maintain dashboards and reports to communicate findings to cross-functional teams
  • Identify data analytics needs, and collaborate with product management and business teams on data and analysis improvements
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and research to support strategic decision-making
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to business processes and tools
  • Conduct research and analysis on market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for product education

The Skills You Bring:

  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization or BI tools such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Sigma
  • Experience gathering data from multiple sources, such as data warehouses, manual or ad-hoc data downloads, etc.
  • Knowledge of data within common products such as Zoom, Salesforce, JIRA, etc.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience in product management, market research, or a related field is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as data science, statistics, or business analytics
  • 2-3 years professional experience with strong analytical skills, including experience in data gathering, data analysis, and data visualization

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working in the online brokerage or related financial services industry is strongly preferred
