Product Design Engineer

THE ROLE:

Here at Survitec, we are currently recruiting for an Product Design Engineer to join our team based in Ellesmere Port.
As our Product Design Engineer, you will support design and development activities for Aerospace and Defence Marine products, such as lifejackets and life rafts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Maintain and manage legacy design data.
• Create CAD manufacturing drawings.
• Progress Engineering Changes and Query Notes.
• Model current or new designs in CAD to apply design loads in FEA software.
• Work with the operations team to deliver improvements to design data.
• Work with test and evaluation team to support product qualification.
• Remotely support manufacturing, and sub-contract suppliers sites as required.
• Support Ellesmere Port operations team.
