Ericsson Security Manager is a visionary, industry-leading product in security management and security assurance for 5G networks.
We are looking for a product designer with a strong background in usability testing or UX writing, with confidence in driving the fulfillment of said area in a B2B environment.
In this role, you will be joining our UX team embedded in a medium-sized product development community. As your main task, you will be responsible product designer for one of our product areas, taking the designs from early-stage exploration into finished UI designs. We also hope you have another in depth focus area, where you can support and help our team to improve in, for example usability testing or UX writing.
Collaboration and proactivity are important in this role, and you will be working in close contact with the product management, product owners, product designers, security specialists, and software developers across different countries. Our UX team collaborates with a wider Ericsson design community, and we have Ericsson’s own Design System to support our work.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Experience in working with digital products and services
• Ability to understand complex technical concepts and connect them with customer needs and business priorities
• Excellent English language skills
• Strong collaboration, coordination and communication skills and proven track record on working with multidisciplinary and multicultural team
• Ability to prioritize time between multiple projects while remaining flexible with changing schedules
• Experience working as a designer throughout the product life cycle
• Experience with design tools like Figma, Sketch or Adobe XD

Depending on your focus area:

• Experience in advocating for and driving usability testing or UX writing activities while staying persistent when facing challenges
• Excellent knowledge on usability testing or UX writing methods and tools

EXPERIENCE / COMPETENCE THAT IS SEEN AS AN ADVANTAGE

• Knowledge of the telco domain
• Knowledge of the security domain

• Translating customers’ processes, needs, and challenges into concrete UX concept proposals and designs for your product area
• Be responsible of your product areas design process and produce high quality design documentation with needed design artefacts, like scenarios, user journeys and prototypes
• Justifying design decisions with user needs, heuristics and conventions
• Regularly showcasing you work to design colleagues and other stakeholders
• Support development of product area roadmaps by sharing understanding of user needs

Depending on your focus area:

• Supporting and coaching colleagues in usability testing or UX writing
• Developing our usability testing or UX writing toolbox and guidelines by trying out new techniques and methods
