Description:

IF YOU’RE HAVING TROUBLE SENDING YOUR APPLICATION, PLEASE REDUCE THE SIZE OF THE UPLOADED FILES. WE APOLOGIZE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE THIS MAY CAUSE AND APPRECIATE YOUR UNDERSTANDING IN ADVANCE. THANK YOU!

In the US, our main market, TripleTen currently offers six reskilling programs that provide opportunities to learn tech industry skills: Software Engineering, Data Science, Business Intelligence Analytics, Quality Assurance, Cyber Security, and UX/UI Design.

Combining technology with human-centric support, we are building a high-quality and scalable product that enables anyone with drive and motivation to take a leap into tech. Every part of this is important:

  • We want anyone to be able to do it. We do not require any tech background, nor do we ask students to pass any assessments, unlike many of our competitors.
  • The only prerequisite we have is the students’ drive and motivation. We care about their self-efficacy and attend to their attitudes throughout the learning process.
  • Taking a leap into tech requires a lot of time and effort, which is why we are creating an interactive learning experience to help students stay engaged from the start to landing a job.

In past years, we built a solid foundation for our learning UI and process, enabling us to handle thousands of new students monthly and help them acquire the complex skills needed for a new job. Our next goal is to make the product cater to all our diverse students and keep them engaged long enough to learn the necessary skills and secure a new job—and this is a real challenge.
In the US, there are many online bootcamps like General Assembly, Chegg Skills, and Springboard. Most of them have high entry barriers and rigid, outdated learning platforms. That’s why we aim to provide an efficient, engaging, and playful learning experience similar to skill-building apps like Duolingo, Brilliant, and Datacamp. Come build the future of interactive learning with us!

  • A taste for high-quality, well-crafted visual and interaction design. You should care about details, be able to create a lovable yet practical UI, and have experience building design systems.
  • A basic design engineer skillset. We’re looking for a designer who can code, dive into technical details with engineering teams, and think in terms of how the actual product works.

  • System thinking that allows you to structure and process qualitative or quantitative data and draw insightful conclusions from it.
  • An ability to balance between craft, speed, and the bottom line. You don’t get stuck on pretty UI or deep abstractions, and consider business needs, implications, and practicality in designs

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

Anton is seeking a product designer to join the P-team. You’ll be responsible for supporting the development and scaling of our product, maintaining the core learning UI, and shaping the user experience.
You will work with all product functions, but primarily with the Dev team. We closely collaborate with developers while building the product, which is why we’re looking for someone with at least basic engineering experience.
A significant part of our work is communication, and most of it is in English. Therefore, 1) you should be comfortable with a large amount of communication, and 2) you must be proficient in speaking and writing in English. You also will collaborate with literary editors on the text in the UI, taking responsibility for the UX writing.
As the one of the few product designers at TripleTen, you will have significant influence on the design culture and help develop our visual language, tools, and work processes. You should enjoy building things, dealing with inevitable mistakes, and cope effectively with complexity and frequent change. That’s why we highly value previous experience working in a startup-like culture.

What you will do:

  • Making our AI-powered assistant called Dot more proactive and helpful for students.
  • Designing new interactive mechanics to help students transition from passive to active learning.
  • Improving wayfinding and navigation to clarify the next steps and the overall learning path.
  • Supporting the development of new programs like Cyber Security and UX/UI Design.
  • Exploring new playful interactions, rewards, and other interventions that can support and inspire learners.
