ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you looking for an opportunity to make an impact in product development? We’re seeking a Product Developer to join our dynamic team on a 6 month maternity cover basis, with the potential to be extended further. If you’re passionate about working across teams to bring high-quality products to life and have a knack for managing suppliers and schedules, this could be the perfect role for you!

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with the Creative team to define product specifications that balance cost and functionality.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive costs and timelines for each product, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
• Draft purchase orders and ensure smooth handover of information to the Procurement and Production teams.
• Liaise across multiple departments to resolve any queries and ensure seamless workflows.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, addressing any issues and ensuring effective communication.
• Ensure product developments stay on track and adhere to critical dates, escalating any delays as necessary.
• Work with teams to evaluate environmental and sustainability factors in product specifications and explore alternative solutions.
• Troubleshoot day-to-day issues with titles or suppliers and continually suggest process improvements.
• Maintain databases and manage ERP system data.
