Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Developer to join our Stylerunner team! Reporting to the Head of Design, this role will be responsible for the design and development of apparel product within Stylerunner. You will collaborate with designers across adjacent categories, as well as with the Head of Design, Product Developers and Buying teams.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
- Managing Tech Packs and development of product after styles are sent to factories
- Chasing fits and any submissions relating to garments, managing this through trackers, ensuring they’re meeting SP deadlines
- Approving any submissions with input from the Designer or Head of Design
- Attending fit sessions
- Managing any changes to styles within PLM system, and making sure linesheets are reflective of this
- Chasing costings and approving against RRPs set by the Designer and Head of Design
- Approving bulk fabrics
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- Demonstrated 3+ years experience in a similar product development role
- Demonstrated experience across product development within the retail industry
- Understanding of fashion and activewear fabrications, silhouettes and construction techniques
- Experience with Illustrator
- Experience with pre-production approval processes – lab dips, strike offs
- Ability to use Excel fluently
- Thrive in a busy and fast paced environment
- Excellent multi tasker
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent attention to detail
- Must be organized with exceptional time management skills
- Collaborative and strong interpersonal skills
- Be customer focused
